I had a disappointing experience with my dentist, although I really like the dental hygienist ; He did a great job with my cleaning. And he is the only reason i came back to this office.

Unfortunately, the dentist herself was not satisfactory. She didn't give us the feeling of caring about your teeth too much. Both my husband and I had fillings done by her, and we experienced pain when biting down on those filled teeth—something we had never experienced with other dentists.

After the fillings, the dentist offered follow-up treatment to address the bite pain, but it didn't work. She then suggested another follow-up, but didn’t even show up for that appointment. Instead, a front office member handled the follow-up, and off course it still didn’t resolve the issue.

Ultimately, we decided to give up on further treatment, and over time, the pain subsided on its own. It seems like our teeth or nerves just got used to it.

Overall, we were very dissatisfied with the dentist’s service. I leave this dentist 2 years ago, but want to come back to leave a review. It just showed that how much i dislike her service. And normally i don't leave a comment at all on google.

I think a lot of review here are good because of the dental hygienist. He did a good job .

I have had sensitive teeth for as long as I can remember, so I've historically felt very nervous about all dental visits. In the past, many dentists & hygienists have hurt me & either ignored my requests for extra numbing or didn't wait long enough to let gel or Novocain take their full effect. So I'd suffer during treatment and then be numb long after the appointment.

Dr. Macdonald is the first dentist in my 57 years of life to numb me with enough topical gel - and then wait for it to take effect, so I don't feel the needle even going in. She is the first dentist to then wait long enough to make sure I am fully numb before she starts working on me. This alone tells me how different she is from the rest.

Dr. Macdonald is also the first dentist to ever recommend bonding to address my gum recession and the resulting sensitivity that I'm sure has gotten worse as I have aged. I had no idea that I could even do anything about it until she suggested bonding. And I had no idea how sensitive my teeth had even become til after she bonded several teeth & I noticed how much more comfortable I feel.

My friends who referred me all love hygienist Dean, but I haven't had a chance to meet him yet. Dr Macdonald did my cleaning in the first visit I made to her office, and as soon as I met her I could tell I made the right choice switching to her.

Joan is helpful, Dr. Macdonald's dental assistant is thorough, and the office is clean and inviting. I wish I had switched from my previous dentist to Dr. Macdonald years ago.

I have been happily seeing Dr. MacDonald & her hygienist Dean for over a decade. A couple months ago, I had some bonding done because I had some gum recession; Dr. MacDonald made my smile look so much fresher!

Most recently, I flossed one of my crowns off and there was decay underneath. Dr. MacDonald was very gentle numbing the area and drilling away the decay. She kept putting moisturizer on my lips as she worked on me, which is so nice because I leave every other dentist with cracked lips after dental work. Her dosing of Novocain left me numb just long enough for the work, but not drooling for hours afterwards haha.

Dean does the most thorough cleanings of any hygienist I have ever seen - my teeth are noticeably brighter each time I see him, and he helps me with tips to keep my gums healthy.

I have referred many friends to this office, & everyone is as happy as I am! My sister even gets her Botox done here, because they are experts with facial muscles. Joan at the front desk is a doll, and Dr. MacDonald's dental assistants are as detailed as she is. Every visit here is comfortable, warm & friendly from the first moment to the last. Highly recommend!

Dr. Mcdonald is amazing. She gives you the information you need to make a decision without the hard sell that too many dentists do these days. She’s kind, professional absolutely what I was looking for in a family dentist. Dean is unbelievable! I’ve NEVER had my teeth cleaned so thoroughly, he spends a lot of time making sure that your teeth are perfect when you leave. Hygienists usually do a 20 minute superficial job when insurance is paying for it, Dean took an hour and my teeth felt and looked amazing.

Fantastic dentist! I went in for another opinion regarding a surgery my normal dentist has ordered, and Dr. McDonald found a different way to fix my issue in a way that was very quick and easy and painless, and avoid the surgery.
