Beware shopping here, bad quality control and poor customer service. I'm all about unique luxury goods and would love to support a new designer company but the store associates at the shoe store were rude to me. They have a very stingy return/exchange policy and act entitled to your money. I'm not used to spending money on luxury anything and receiving such poor treatment in return.
I bought a pair of $400 white sneakers at the shoe store here. I found that one of the shoe lace holes on the sneaker was sewn on crooked, misaligned by like 2mm on the stitching, and it caused the whole shoe to be asymmetrical and the laces to look slanted. I went back asking for exchange for the 1 shoe. The black young woman that sold the shoe to me was quite nice but the man and this older lady that worked there 2 days later when I went back were rude to me! They immediately flipped the shoes over and accused me of already wearing the shoes because there were marks on the bottom of the heels. They also said I must have threaded the shoe lace wrong. I said the shoes were sold to me slightly dirty because people had already tried them on multiple times in the store, how could they be absolutely white? The man then asked me, "so you bought these shoes 2 days ago?" like they didn't believe me when I had the receipt right there with the date.
They went 2 stores down to ask a manager if I could get a replacement and told me no because the shoe is handmade so the crooked lace is not a defect. Are you kidding me? Hermès and Chanel handbags are also handmade but they don't look messed up like this.
Finally they said I bought the last pair in the size so they can't even exchange it for me anyway. I'm not sure why these incompetent people went through the trouble of insulting me and put me on the defensive just to tell me they didn't have a shoe to even exchange for me. I wonder if the store associate lied because he had this attitude he didn't even care.
I was only visiting Palm Beach on vacation so I kept the defective shoe and flew home. If someone from corporate sees this review and can help me with an exchange from Italy, please contact me, I would love that. I just want the one shoe replaced.
You should also retrain your sales associates better. I have never been treated so poorly in a luxury goods/restaurant/travel setting. I can't help but suspect like I was racially/income profiled because I don't fit the look of the typical resident at Palm Beach.
