Buyers BEWARE (especially tourists) of the business practice at this place. Those two ladies who work there are very shady and dishonest. They are SCAM artists, they would try to up-sell more than what you ask for. There are 2 things to watch out for. First of all, watch for the scale as they will add more weight to it. If you ask for 1LB of beef jerky they will make a 3LBS bag instead. I was charged 3 times the price I wanted. Secondly, ask for an itemized receipt and double check everything. The receipt won't have a name for each item. My order was added to another item I did not buy. Only when I talk to them, they give me a refund back in the form of another item, and not money back. They would constantly give you free samples of everything, give you tons of compliments, therefore, you were distracted from the scale, the receipt. My total bill was around $750. Oh lord and I was trusting these scam artist because we speak the same language. These people are extremely sneaky and GREEDY. They only worship money.

Came to leave a 1star review and realized so many others already did and had the exact same experience!
PEOPLE PLS BE AWARE WHEN SHOPPING HERE! they’re scammer just as other reviews said.
They can appear very sweet but they will take advantage of your lack of attention. Make sure you double check the price+amount of food, and dont be afraid to say no if they bag more than what you told them to.
Yes the beef jerky is good & trying to upsell is okay, but scamming is WRONG.

Wanted 1lbs of the beef jerky that goes for $32/lbs. They weighed and instead of matching the 1lbs or close to it. They added an extra pound doubling the cost. Vaccuim sealing the bag and saying it was just a little more. The 1 star is for the beef jerky that was actually good but 0 stars for integrity. Vietnamese upselling scammers.

Shopper beware:
*Very* pushy and scammy sales people and they were profiling my black friend who was in the shop with me.

I asked for 1/4 lb of jerky and they instead put in a whole 1 lb. That's the difference between $8 of product and $35 so it felt like a scam.

The lesson here is if you don't get exactly what you're asking for, remember you haven't paid yet so just walk out and never come back.

They scam you here. If you got a 1lb bag, they probably charged you 2lbs. All of my bags are charged more than their actual weights. They exist in a high-tourist location to scam one-time visitors. I wish I read the reviews before buying.

*BEWARE of scam in this place* We tried to buy some Kho bo and asked for 1lb. The server proceeds to sell us less of what we asked for and charge for the amount of 1lb. When we asked for her to weigh the product and show us, she blantely ignored the request. We do NOT recommend.

*For great Kho Bo and kho products/snacks, we recommend Kum Lee Kho Bo down the street. They are honest, provide wonderful service, great price, and they do delivery as well!*

Mọi người đến đây Vua Khô Bò trong Phước Lôc Thọ phải thật sự cẩn thận khi họ cân khô nhe. Họ quay quanh mình 2,3 người, Mình nói cân 1lbs hoặc 2 lbs lúc tính tiền họ bỏ vào bọc 3,4 lbs luôn. Sau khi tính tiền sẽ không đưa hóa đơn tính tiển cho khách hàng. Chổ này tìm cách lấy tiền của khách hàng. Mình mong quý khách nên đến vua khô bò khác nhe. Tiệm này sống và làm ăn ở California sao mà nguy hiểm quá.

Mọi người đến đây cẩn thận khi họ cân khô nhe, họ hay ra 1 lần 2 hoặc 3 tiếp mình để mình khỏi để ý họ cân bao nhiêu khô cho mình. Mình chỉ muốn mỗi thứ 1lb nhưng họ cân 2lb hoặc hơn và không cho mình thấy vì họ làm rất lẹ. Sau khi tính tiền sẽ không đưa hóa đớn trừ khi mình hỏi. Chổ này tìm cách lấy tiền của khách hàng..mình mong quý khách nên đến vua khô bò khác nhe. Là người việt xa xứ không giúp đở nhau thì thôi tại sao tìm cách làm ăn không thật để lấy tiền khách hàng.
